Going From Trash to Beauty Your bathroom is probably the smallest room in the house, but it doesn't have to be dull and unexciting. It's easy to find the perfect shower curtain and beautiful towels and bath mats, but what to do with that plain, old trash bucket? Let's rejuvenate it! Decorating tools: pencil, tape measure, scissors, spray adhesive
1. Prepare a piece of fabric of your choice. It's better if the fabric matches some aspect of your bathroom, like towels or the shower curtain in colors or pattern. Wrap it around the trash container with the pattern facing towards the trash container. Mark where you want to cut the fabric with a pencil. If your fabric is dark, you can use white drawing pencil so you can see the lines. 2. Cut the fabric to the size of the container. At the back, leave half an inch of extra vertical space. 3. Spray material with adhesive and attach to the container. Make sure that the half of inch of extra fabricthat you left at the back of container overlaps the other end of the fabric. If you don't want to use fabric, there's always wallpaper. Just make sure that it's water resistant. Also, you can add a solid line of fabric of matching color to the top of the trash container to give it a little edge. |
