Picture Frame With Shells Want to make your vacation memories last? Then get out the seashells you collected on your tropical vacation and let's get decorating! Decorating tools: acrylic paint, paintbrush, glue gun
1. Get a picture frame. Make sure that the shells will fit nicely on top of the frame. It should not be too thin or too small. 2. Paint the frame white or blue (B). Those two colors work best with shells. Let the paint thoroughly dry. Simple, wooden frames also can look very pretty (A). If you have one of those, go to step 3. 3. Arrange your shells on top of the picture frame without gluing them down. Position the larger shells first and then fill in empty spaces with the smaller ones. Play around with variations until you like the way it came out (C). 4. Glue the shells to the frame using hot glue gun or any craft glue.
When all of the shells are glued down, you can paint over them with clear nail polish for a glossy look. To make your next picture frame look different, use buttons instead of shells. |
