Personalized Snowflake Ornament
Make your Christmas memories last with a personalized ornament. Make one for each member of your family this holiday. To make it you will need: white cardboard, a small photo, silver glitter glue pen, one jewel, and white string.
Decorating Tools: scissors, glue stick, hole punch.
1. Print out all three templates. Put the snowflake templates against white piece of cardboard and cut them out. Put 1" circle against a small photograph. Make sure that the circle contains the part of the photo that you want to show on the ornament. Cut the photo circle out. Glue the photo circle in the center of the small snowflake.
2. Take a hole punch and make a hole on one of the big snowflake's branches. Get a silver glitter glue pen and outline both snowflakes. Put a continuous line of glitter very close to the edges of the snowflakes (see picture). Let the glitter dry.
3. Get a jewel or a button .25" tall. Glue the jewel in the center of the big snowflake. Use craft glue for this. Now glue the smaller snowflake on top of the jewel. The layering is in this order: big snowflake, jewel, small snowflake. The jewel will add 3D effect to the ornament. Let the glue dry.
4. Take a white string 9" long. Put the string through a hole on the big snowflake that you made earlier. Make a knot at the ends of the string to create a hook.
